OCCC Chapin Theatre Audio and Lighting Upgrades

SGM Engineering provided a new design for the lighting and audio upgrades at the Linda W. Chapin Theater, the 2,634-seat auditorium in the Orange County Convention Center’s West Building. The larger of the two projects, upgrades to the theater’s audio system, means a complete replacement of original equipment that has been used since its installation in 1995. Upon completion, the OCCC’s Chapin Theater now has a state-of-the-industry performance audio system including new speakers, amplifiers and an all-new audio mixing console. The theater’s existing lighting was updated with new energy efficient LED lights.
