Our Team

SGM employs members in all disciplines to perform job assignments and is structured with many qualified and experienced Project Managers that complete their projects on-time and within budget. Each Project Manager has Engineers, Designers and Cad Tech staff who are assigned to a specific project. The most important aspect of availability will be centered on our key management staff so that the overall program management controls can be implemented quickly and efficiently.

Mr. Bobak ‘Bobby’ Shahnami, President of SGM, has extensive experience in program, business development, project, construction management, and managing several projects simultaneously in the fields of Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection Engineering, and Commissioning.  Having worked on over 3000 projects throughout his career with SGM he has a clear understanding of the design and construction sectors. He has a diverse blend of public and private sector senior management and executive leadership experience providing creative strategic solutions to his clients and projects. As President, he is responsible for the performance of the firm and is engaged daily with clients and projects.

Mr. Rahbari is a Florida Licensed Class A Certified Air Conditioning Contractor, Mechanical Inspector, Mold Assessor, and Mold Remediator with expertise in the optimization of chiller plants. Mr. Rahbari has 40 years of experience reviewing and analyzing MEP and renewable energy systems for public facilities. He is highly skilled in commissioning, retro-commissioning, and annual recommissioning on projects such as courthouses, libraries, fire stations, and central energy plants. He is responsible for over $1.5 billion worth of commissioning projects, and has extensive experience with local Counties.

Mark Escott, PE, CxA, LEED AP

Mr. Escott has over 32 years of experience acting as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Project Manager, and Commissioning Agent for clients throughout Florida. Mr. Escott will be available to commission complex electrical systems, utilizing his expansive knowledge of electrical utility services. These skills include SCADA/controls; power distribution; sustainable lighting; voltage regulating equipment for distributed generation under 20 megawatt; auxiliary generators; etc. Areas of design expertise include lighting, power, grounding, emergency generator, UPS, surge protection, lightning protection, fire alarm, telephone/data distribution, CATV, CCTV, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, audio/video, and intercom.
