Valencia College Advanced Manufacturing Plant

SGM provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design services for the renovation of the existing 20,137 SF Colt Manufacturing Plant into an advanced manufacturing plant for Valencia College. The existing building was converted into a training and educational facility that features four labs, two smart-technology classrooms, a conference room, a study lounge, and exterior additions such as covered storage and recycling units. The space included:

• Connections for drill presses
• Table saws
• Lathe
• Tool storage spaces
• Computer classroom spaces
• Offices
• Lobby
• Reception
• Conference rooms
