Cypress Creek High School Comprehensive

As the MEP/FP Engineer of Record, SGM provided engineering services for a high-profile, comprehensive renovation of Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida. The project improved a variety of facilities and promoted 21st century schools through a modernized, college-type campus.

SGM’s scope included broad and detailed deliverables such as program verification, schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration services. The design included construction phasing documents with no impact to the existing campus while new construction took place.

The major components include renovation and expansions of over 400,000 SF including classrooms, laboratories, media center, multi-purpose/dining, administrative, science, gymnasium, football stadium, music/art suite, and field house. The project also includes 7,500 SF of new construction to bring the core and service spaces up to prototypical standards, consisting of mechanical, electrical, and data rooms.
