Replace Chillers #1, 2 & 3, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, Orlando, FL

SGM was responsible for the design and construction administration services to replace (1) existing 400-ton chillers and (2) existing 800-ton chillers with equivalently sized and energy-efficient centrifugal machines. The new chillers were selected to support variable evaporator and variable condenser flow options and include a VSD capacity control system. The chillers also have BACnet cards to provide connectivity with the existing Honeywell EBI. The project was done with no impacts to Hotel’s daily operation.SGM conducted the start-up of the chillers in presence of Owner’s Rep., mechanical and control contractors to make sure the system operates as shown on construction documents.SGM conducted weekly inspections, issued field reports and submitted as-build drawings, including owner’s manual and warranty books.
