UCF Downtown Parking Garage

SGM Engineering provided MEP/FP design services for the Downtown Parking Garage for the new UCF Downtown Creative Village. UCF Downtown facilities will bring 7,700 UCF and Valencia College students to downtown Orlando, offering students an innovative learning environment within walking distance of a wide array of internships and job opportunities in fields such as communication, digital media, public service, and health-related programs. The design included license plate recognition technology, security cameras, real-time space counts by floor, and electric charging stations. The ground floor consists of a university store, campus services, and storage space for campus supplies. The MEP design supported LEED Green Garages criteria. Project Size: 580 Spaces + 25,000 SF
